The complex roof of this new villa consists of multi-layer thermal insulation, tapered layers and a RESITRIX waterproofing membrane. Building services routed through the exposed concrete structure required exceptionally precise fixing and daily protection of the unfinished roof.
On the concrete frame of the new fire-service hall in Ostrava, we installed load-bearing trapezoidal steel sheets, combined mineral-wool and EPS insulation, and fully torch-bonded modified bitumen membranes. The roof build-up meets the REI 15 and BROOF(t3) fire-safety requirements.
For the hotel extension, we built a flat roof using a Fatra mPVC membrane. The roof is thermally insulated with tapered polystyrene insulation.
On this modern apartment-building project, we completed the full roof build-up as well as the terraces and balconies. The roof was waterproofed with a Dekplan mPVC membrane and ballasted with gravel or paving slabs. Design: KOHL architekti s.r.o.
On this new family home, we installed Bauder above-rafter thermal insulation and a roof covering in pre-weathered titanium zinc.
During the complete refurbishment of this apartment building, we replaced the entire roof, installed a Bauder PIR above-rafter insulation system and laid Tondach Francouzská 14 clay tiles. The work also included replacing the roof windows and was supervised by the National Heritage Institute.
On the modern RED House office complex in Ostrava, we insulated the roof envelope and waterproofed the roof using a Rhenofol mPVC membrane.
During the complete refurbishment of this listed building, we repaired the severely damaged roof structure and laid Tondach plain clay tiles in scale pattern. The work followed traditional methods under heritage supervision and received an award for the best refurbishment of a listed building.
After dismantling the original roof, we built a new timber truss structure with above-rafter thermal insulation. We installed a PREFA aluminium standing-seam roof and insulated and waterproofed the flat roofs of the extensions.
The complete roof refurbishment of this listed building included repairs to the timber structure, new boarding, battens and a vapour-permeable membrane, followed by the reinstatement of Tondach plain clay tiles. We laid 170,000 tiles over an area of 4,300 m². The project won third place in the Tondach Pitched Roof 2021 competition.
During the complete refurbishment of the listed station building dating from 1889, we replaced the roof covering and sheet-metal details and repaired the timber structure. The new roof is covered with Dakora English-pattern fibre-cement slates.
During the roof refurbishment of this apartment building, we installed a new sheet-metal roof and completed the flashings using the SATJAM Rapid system, which recreates the appearance of traditional standing-seam roofing.
As part of the refurbishment of this long-term care facility, we insulated the roofs and terraces. The upper waterproofing layer uses the Protan vacuum-fastened roofing system.
On this listed building dating from 1898, we repaired and treated the roof structure, installed Eternit Dakora roofing that imitates natural slate, and completed the sheet-metal work in RHEINZINK. The photographs show the condition of the roof ten years after refurbishment.
